Yellow Lampmussel (Lampsilis cariosa) Studies in the Connecticut River
Biodrawversity completed qualitative and quantitative studies regarding yellow lampmussel in the impoundment and bypass reach of the Holyoke Dam and Holyoke Canals. Our SCUBA divers documented remarkably high densities and provided strong evidence of a population that may be returning from the brink of elimination in the lower Connecticut River.
