Coastal Pond Summer 2009: Biodiversity and habitat studies of coastal plain ponds

In 2009, Biodrawversity continued its regional assessment of mussels and their habitat conditions in coastal plain ponds of southeastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Fifteen ponds were surveyed that year, contributing to the more than 35 coastal ponds that have been studied by our firm in the last three years as we have worked with state agencies and other clients to understand and manage threats to the biodiversity of these waterbodies.
